Describe what you need. TVS searches programs based on official sources and explains why they may fit. Confirm eligibility with the provider before applying.
TVS will explain how it interpreted your request before showing matches.
Answer a few non-sensitive questions. TVS will screen its published catalog for relevant programs and explain why each one matched. This does not determine final eligibility.

Companies across America publicly demonstrate their support for veterans and military families through military discounts. Those offers can provide meaningful value—but only when they are accessible, clearly explained, and actually honored.
The Veteran Standard gives the military community a voice in determining which discounts live up to that promise.
Share whether an offer worked, describe your experience, and help elevate companies providing meaningful military benefits while identifying offers that need improvement.
Rankings appear only when enough real responses exist to support a useful comparison.
Review current terms and community experiences, then confirm final details directly with the company.
Every year, U.S. military veterans transition into civilian life and navigate a vast ecosystem of government programs, nonprofits, educational institutions, healthcare providers, employers, financial services, and private organizations—all intended to improve veterans’ lives. Yet veterans still lack a trusted, independent platform where they can easily understand which programs are delivering meaningful value.
Today, that information is scattered across Reddit, Facebook groups, Google reviews, YouTube comments, and word of mouth. Veterans are often forced to make important decisions with incomplete, inconsistent, or biased information.
The Veteran Standard exists to change that.
We are building the trusted discovery and transparency platform for the veteran services ecosystem—giving veterans and military-connected families one place to search, compare, review, and discuss the programs and organizations that serve them.
From mental health and education to career transition, housing, entrepreneurship, financial assistance, and beyond, The Veteran Standard combines official program information with real community experiences to help people make better-informed decisions.
Unlike a traditional directory, The Veteran Standard grows more valuable with every shared experience. Our long-term vision is to become trusted digital infrastructure for the veteran community—a place to discover resources, compare options, share experiences, and help organizations demonstrate transparency and quality.
Veterans can find official descriptions of benefits and services, but often cannot see what the application process, communication, wait time, or delivery experience was like for people who actually used them.
Better context helps people understand intake steps, likely wait times, questions to ask, and whether a program fits their needs before they commit.
Organizations may operate many different services. Reviews stay tied to the specific program used whenever possible so one experience does not become a misleading organization-wide score.
Qualifying public reviews contribute to ratings after the 25-review trust threshold. Organizations can correct factual information and respond, but they cannot edit reviews or direct moderation.
The Veteran Standard is an independent, veteran-owned platform. We are not a nonprofit organization, government agency, or part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or Department of Defense.
Commercial relationships are labeled and kept separate from review, rating, ranking, and moderation systems. No organization can pay to control its score.
Organizations can provide context, correct program information, and respond publicly to community feedback. They cannot edit independent reviews, control ratings, influence rankings, or direct moderation decisions.
Organizations can participate in the conversation. They cannot control the score.
Each organization page groups its programs while keeping community experiences and ratings tied to the specific service used.
Start a discussion about benefits, career transition, SkillBridge, employment, education, military family life, finances, discounts, healthcare, entrepreneurship, local resources, or anything else affecting the military-connected community.
Programs need 25 qualifying public reviews. TVS then uses a Bayesian weighted rating that balances average score with review volume. Sponsorship, advertising, organization payments, and admin preference never affect rank.
